RETURN POLICY EFFECTIVE 7-12-2017

LIGHTING BY FOX WILL BE KNOWN AS LIGHTING BY FOX OR REFERRED TO AS LBF BELOW.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it for a refund. Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee and any shipping costs associated with your order. All returns must be completed within 30 days of your purchase. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to LBF.

 

A restocking fee of 15% to 35% will be assessed on all non-stock special order merchandise as well as shipping back to the manufacturer. If your order was delivered by a common freight carrier and you wish to use this method for your return you will be assessed a $99.00 freight pick up fee which will be deducted from your return refund. We cannot accept returns of light bulbs, repair parts, additional fixture parts and shades. LBF cannot accept returns on any large volume, high quantity orders for commercial or residential projects. Additionally, we do not accept returns of closeouts, discontinued, clearance items, overstock or display items. International orders are All Sales Final. We also do not accept returns of items not bought at LBF.

 

To begin the return process, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by filling out the form below or contacting LBF at returnslbf@lightingbyfox.com. Your RMA will be valid for 7 days. All products sent back to us without prior authorization cannot be accepted. We are not responsible for any shipping charges if we refuse a return.

 

If you would like to cancel a special order, (special order not involving a custom, made to order item) please contact LBF at cancelS/Olightinglbf@lightingbyfox.com as soon as possible so that we may contact the manufacturer to request a cancellation. In such cases a cancellation fee may be required. Once any item has shipped it cannot be cancelled or rerouted. Please do not refuse a delivery of non-damaged goods. Refusal will result in no refund and a possible loss of your product.

 

If you would like to cancel an item that is on backorder please contact LBF at cancelB/Olightinglbf@lightingbyfox.com as soon as possible so that we may contact the manufacturer to request a cancellation. Manufacturers may sometimes ship a backordered item sooner than anticipated due to split shipments or early arrival of stock. Once any item backordered has shipped it cannot be cancelled or rerouted. Please do not refuse a delivery of non-damaged goods. Refusal will result in a 50% restocking fee or a possibility of no refund and a possible loss of your product.

 

All custom or made to order special orders may not be cancelled once the production process begins. Additionally, custom or made to order special orders cannot be returned for any reason. If you need to cancel a custom or made to order special order please contact LBF at cancelMTOlightinglbf@lightingbyfox.com as soon as possible so that we may contact the manufacturer to request a cancellation. In such cases a cancellation fee may be required. Once any item has shipped it cannot be cancelled or rerouted. Please do not refuse a delivery of non-damaged goods. Refusal will result in no refund and a possible loss of your product.

 

SHIPPING

Free Ground Shipping is not available to residents in Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

 

TERMS FOR RETURNS

    1. The merchandise must be in their original cartons and have not been installed, not had wires cut or stripped or not had the parts/installation package opened. Additionally, any crystal fixtures cannot have the crystal packs opened as there may be an additional repackaging fee assessed. The item may be taken out of the box to view, but cannot have been installed for any reason unless arrangements are made prior to the sale. We are not responsible for any labor costs as a result of defective, damaged or incorrect items.

 

    1. All custom or made to order special orders may not be cancelled once the production process begins. Additionally, custom or made to order special orders cannot be returned for any reason.

 

    1. Returned items must arrive back in new condition including the box. Do not mark the packaging in any way to maintain like new condition. Write the RGA Number on the shipping label.

 

    1. The customer is responsible for the merchandise until it is returned to LBF or the designated manufacturer.

 

    1. Upon inspection of the returned items, a refund will be issued less any restocking fees, shipping fees and any miscellaneous fees such as repackaging or cancellation fees. We do not cover restocking or shipping fees for returns.

 

    1. Please allow up to 30 days for a refund to be issued. Refunds will be issued to the purchasing credit card.

 

    1. All products sent back to LBF without prior authorization will not be accepted. We are not responsible for any shipping charges if we refuse a return.

 

    1. Defective returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Please contact LBF at defectivelightinglbf@lightingbyfox.com as soon as possible. LBF is not responsible for any labor costs related to handling, installing, repairing or uninstalling items purchased.Unfortunately, fragile items are sometimes damaged in shipping. We also realize the need to pre-order and plan for your design needs. We ask that you inspect all items individually once they arrive so that any damage claims can be made immediately. If your item arrives damaged or with parts missing, you must notify us within 20 days of receipt of the item/s. We will also request that you provide photos of any damaged product, along with the product packaging as this will help us service your needs quickly. We will be happy to replace the item or send replacement parts as soon as possible. In some instances, it is possible to repair damaged and/or defects with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to use this as a solution. LBF is not responsible for any labor costs related to handling, installing, repairing or uninstalling items purchased.

      Defective and Damaged Products

      Please keep in mind that defective items (those with factory defects) are handled differently than damaged, broken glass or missing parts items. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that quality control and inspection procedures are in place, but sometimes defects or missing parts do occur. We work with you to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, but you must report any product defect within 20 days of receiving your order.

 

    1. If you receive a package from UPS or FedEx that is damaged please accept it and notify us within 2 business days. We can file a claim on your behalf and resolve it quickly. We will also request that you provide photos of any damaged product, along with the product packaging as this will help us service your needs quickly. Please notify us at damagedshipmentlbf@lightingbyfox.com so that we may prepare for the return and replacement.

 

    1. It is very important to inspect any merchandise delivered by common freight carriers. Please notate any damage on the bill of lading or receipt when you sign for the delivery, even if the package isn’t heavily damaged. If you do not notate damage the customer is fully responsible for the damaged merchandise. We will also request that you provide photos of any damaged product, along with the product packaging as this will help us service your needs quickly. If there is obvious significant damage you may refuse delivery. Please notify us at damagedshipmentlbf@lightingbyfox.com so that we may prepare for the return and the replacement.

 

  1. Most manufacturers have a warranty on their products for 1 year. Please contact us at warrantylbf@lightingbyfox.com if you have any questions referring to your item. Please also reference your original order number.

 

RETURNING AN ONLINE PURCHASE TO A LIGHTING BY FOX STORE

You may return an online purchase to any Lighting by Fox store within 30 days of receiving it, but you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by filling out the form below or contacting LBF at returnslbf@lightingbyfox.com.

 

When you contact us, please indicate your online order number and the store location you will be using to make your return. Please note replacement items may not be available at the store location and may have to be ordered at the store to fulfill your request. For your store visit, please bring the following items:

  • The RMA authorization for store return sent to you via email.
  • The credit card used for the original purchase.
  • The item to return in its original packaging. Please allow up to 30 minutes for inspection of your returned item/s.
